Changing Proxy Settings on Your Browser

First, go to our free anonymous updated daily proxy list and find an anonymous proxy. After changing your browser proxy settings below, check the proxy for anonymity with the proxy checker.

 

Internet Explorer Version 5, 5.5 Proxy Server Settings

1. Go to the 'Tools' menu.
2. Select 'Internet Options'.
3. Click on the 'Connections' tab.
4. In the dial-up settings window select the connection you use to get on the internet by clicking it and then click on the 'Settings' button.
5. Check the box marked 'Use a proxy server'.
6. Enter the address and port in the boxes.
7. Click 'OK'.
8. Click 'OK' again.

Internet Explorer Version 6.0 Proxy Server Settings

1. Go to the 'Tools' menu.
2. Select 'Internet Options'.
3. Click on the 'Connections' tab.
4. In the dial-up settings window select the connection you use to get on the internet by clicking it and then click on the 'Settings' button.
5. Check the box marked 'Use a proxy server for this connection.' (These settings will not apply to other connections.)
6. Enter the address and port in the boxes.
7. Click 'OK'.
8. Click 'OK' again.

or if there are no connections in the dial-up settings box:

1. Go to the 'Tools' menu.
2. Select 'Internet Options'.
3. Click on the 'Connections' tab.
4. In the Local Area Network (LAN) settings section click on the 'LAN Settings' button.
5. Check the box marked 'Use a proxy server for your LAN.' (These settings will not apply to other connections.)
6. Enter the address and port in the boxes.
7. Click 'OK'.
8. Click 'OK' again.

1. Go to the 'Tools' menu.

Mozilla Firefox 3.x Proxy Server Settings

1. Go to the 'Tools' menu, then 'Options'
2. Select Advanced'.
3. Click on the 'Network' tab.
4. Click on the 'Settings' button.
5. Select the radio button 'Manual proxy configuration.'
6. Enter the IP address and port in the HTTP Proxy and Port boxes.
7. Click 'OK'.
8. Click 'OK' again.

Mozilla Firefox 2.x Proxy Server Settings

1. Launch Firefox
2. Go to Tools menu
   
3. Click on Options
   
4. Choose the Advanced tab
   
5. Choose the Network tab and click on Settings...
   
6. Confirm that these proxy settings are in place
   
7. Cick ok and close all windows
8. Close and relaunch Firefox

Mozilla Firefox 1.x Proxy Server Settings

1. Select Tools => Options.
2. Select General.
3. In the "Connections" area click the "Connection Settings" button.
4. Select the Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
5. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and port.
6. Click OK

 

Mozilla 1.7 Proxy Server Settings

1. Select Edit => Preferences.
2. Select Advanced to open sub-menu.
3. Select the Proxies item.
4. Select the Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
5. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and port.
6. Click OK

 

Opera 7 Proxy Server Settings

1. Select File => Preferences.
2. Select the Network tab.
3. Click the "Proxy servers" button.
4. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and port.
5. Click OK.
6. Click OK.

 

Opera 8.5 Proxy Server Settings

1. Select Tools => Preferences.
2. Select the Network tab.
3. Click the "Proxy servers" button.
4. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and port.
5. Click OK.
6. Click OK.

 

Netscape Navigator 6 Proxy Server Settings

1. Select Edit => Preferences.
2. Click on the triangle next to the Advanced category to expand it.
3. Select the Proxies item.
4. Select the Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
5. Click the View button.
6. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and port.
7. Click OK
8. Click OK

Netscape Navigator 7 Proxy Server Settings

1. Select Edit => Preferences.
2. Click on the triangle next to the Advanced category to expand it.
3. Select the Proxies item.
4. Select the Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
5. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and port.
6. Click OK

 

AOL Instant Messenger 5.5 Proxy Server Settings

1. Start up AOL Instant Messenger.
2. Click on Cancel.
3. Click on the "Setup" button.
4. Click the "Connections" button.
5. In the connection preferences window click on the "Connect using Proxy" box.
6. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Host (proxy server address) and port.
7. Select the protocol type of proxies you will use.
8. Click OK

or

1. Start up AOL Instant Messenger.
2. Select My AIM => Edit options => Edit Preferences.
3. Select Sign on/off category.
4. Click the "Connections" button.
5. In the connection preferences window click on the "Connect using Proxy" box.
6. In the necessary proxy field(s), set Host (proxy server address) and port.
7. Select the protocol type of proxies you will use.
8. Click OK
